Supergate has participated in the development of "Level 4 Functional Safety Autonomous Driving AI Semiconductor and Computing Module" for the first time in Korea. This technological advancement will strengthen Korea's leadership in the international autonomous driving competition.

The development of autonomous driving increases the convenience for drivers, reduces the risk of traffic accidents, and with the advancement of sensors and cameras, vehicles can better predict the driver's behavior and driving patterns. Especially in heavy traffic, the vehicle must make decisions and navigate autonomously, emphasizing the importance of Supergate's autonomous driving chipset.
Supergate is focusing on developing recognition and processing functions for autonomous driving, handling inputs from various camera sensors in real time. The core goal of the project is to develop semiconductors that meet international standards like ISO-26262, ensuring functional safety at ASIL-B level for the chip and ASIL-D for the module.
The system semiconductor being developed by Supergate is equipped with ultra-fast, high-precision multi-sensor AI computing and parallel processing of artificial neural networks. This allows it to process information from multiple sensors quickly and accurately. Furthermore, it supports image processors for multiple image sensors and compresses video data, enhancing the clarity and accuracy of environmental recognition around the vehicle. Additionally, it supports technologies like Lidar and 4D Imaging Radar, enabling the recognition of the surrounding environment in 3D. All these technologies greatly contribute to prioritizing safety while driving.
